Two Tone Sequoia Bowl Blanks

These two tone Sequoia bowl blanks offer a rare opportunity to experiment with timber from the Giant Sequoia tree, also know as the Wellingtonia. They are cut from boards taken from the edge of the tree and encompass some sap wood and some heart wood providing a 'two tone' effect.
 
The trees are coniferious and so the wood is technically softwood. The growing rings in these blanks are pronounced and therefore will add flare to your turned design.
